Fresh from a decades old collection of oddities comes this fine gem example of an exceedingly rare color variety for the species. Large, clean gem examples of this pleasant mid-tone brown are almost never seen in the market place; sometimes small and heavily included stones are seen but we haven’t ever had a clean one over 1 carat prior to this, let alone a 4+ ct. gem. Finely cut and bright, a fine Brazilian rarity.
