A massive Malagasy Barite.  The color is a pleasant golden hue and the gem is completely clean and very nicely cut.  What is so impressive is the size - stones of this heft have a distinct presence that is undeniable.  The largest stone cut from a small find of material a few years ago - the color is fairly distinctive, being much less brown than US material.  Dramatic stone and a very competitive price per carat.
