These are such precious and fascinating pieces. A complex and elegant form, the macle is a twinned Diamond crystal. While the overall shape is very attractive, the adamantine luster of Diamond imparts a special reflectivity and glow to these. The deep striations and overall ‘chunky’ form of this particular stone is quite charming; it is considerably thicker than these usually are and so would fit wonderfully into jewelry.
