A very fine Burmese Sapphire of superb size and brilliance.  Simply a gorgeous color; a saturation level or two above a pastel shade the stone has a very attractive medium violet bodycolor with some distinct bluish modifiers.  The gem is completely clean and has just been given a fine recut.  The cutting is a lovely and custom job done in a unique and attractive round mixed cut - the idea here was to combine the classic look of the 'old' cutting style with all the correct angles and fine polish of a precision job.  Zero windowing and fully brilliant, a finer 3 carat Burmese round of this color would be a tough stone to source. With an AGL Sapphire Brief stating heat only.
