Tsumeb, Namibia is undoubtedly one of the great mineral localities, and consequently, it has produced its share of very unusual gem rough as well.  From vivid Mimetites to blue Wulfenite, we have seen some amazing rarities.  This huge, very transparent, faceted Willemite is no exception.  Because of the growth habit for this mineral, faceted gems are scarce - and always translucent at the very best.  Here we have a nearly semi-transparent gem in a rare, but classic, Tsumeb color - a peachy, yellow-orange.  The size is remarkable and the custom shape is done to perfection with an attractive shape and a very, very fine polish.  Most unusual and the type of gem that is nearly gone from the market now.
