From a new find in Brazil, this is a fairly uncommon hue for gem Apatite.  Browns and golds tend to be lighter in tone and this gem resembles a nicely pleochroic example of Dravite Tourmaline more than it does traditional Apatite.  Lovely cutting and completely clean - quite affordable as well!
