There has been no production of this classic Malagasy ‘neon’ Apatite for years. While the color is heated, it remains the standard for these vivid Apatites; there are some Brazilian stones as well but they never seem to match the intensity and color possible from Malagasy stones. Typically these have some light inclusions or haze, but this one is absolutely clean and has been cut to the highest standards. On all points, the very best quality of stone possible in this variety - great size and an almost unbelievable color. Not commonly seen any longer.
