Among the most storied of all gems, we don’t often get to offer fine Trapiche Emeralds as the truly good ones are so few and far between. The unique spoke like pattern of their carbon inclusions cause the immediately recognizable fixed star - the name comes from the type of grinding wheel used locally for sugarcane. It is extraordinarily difficult to fine gems that check all the boxes; that is, they have a well centered pattern, fine color, good size, and otherwise excellent clarity. We loved this one the moment we saw it and consider it to be exemplary. Superb 3+ carat example. With full GIA report.
