A gorgeous custom cut gem Barite from a US locale that we have never offered before - the Book Cliffs of Mesa Co., Colorado. Well known as a Barite locality, the only way you will find gems from this area is to either collect yourself or buy collected rough and then have that material specifically cut - there is no commercial production. The gem is completely colorless and has an amazing polish and luster for a softer material like Barite; the triangle shape is particularly well done and gives the stone a great deal more brilliance that you might suspect. Superb collection piece and a special locality certainly.
