A very unusual combination of minerals, this is a gemmy colorless Beryl (Goshenite) that has a field of included crystals of Phenakite. We saw just a precious few of these faceted from material found several years ago. This was analyzed and written up in the Journal of Gemmology in 2016 and we haven’t seen it since. A superb, larger gem that will delight under magnification - the Phenakite is well formed and gives the stone a bit of a sparklet as the reflections are picked up by the light.
