A curiosity to be sure; this unusual variety of Hafnium-rich Zircon occurs near Mogok (as well as at another well known locale in Norway). These form as radiating spheres and are almost never faceted - in fact, this is one of the very few we have ever seen. Great size and the polish is very well done - the gem has been orientated to show the radiating structure of the material across the table. .
