We often get requests for these, though we are rarely able to offer them. Cutting a cube is just about the least efficient use of gem rough, not to mention taking the time to orient it correctly. The idea is have the violet hue fully present through one of the cube's faces, while the gray is immediately adjacent. They are fun and interesting gemological tools for understanding pleochroism. Quite nice and gemmy.
