A fine Amethyst from one of our favorite localities. These Georgia stones have both a crisp, fine color and that peculiar and attractive 'blue flash' that is unique to their locality. It is a subtle but distinct effect and clearly visible - not something made up in order to market these gems. This gem combines the perfect size and tone to showcase this effect - not overly dark in tone at all. Completely clean and precision cut 5+ carat gems are always at a premium. Additionally, these are all natural gems - in contrast with many Amethysts in the market they are not heated.
