Orange Calcite is not entirely uncommon, but having the ability to cut smaller gems with an intense color certainly is. While we don’t have a definitive origin on this one, it did come from an old collection with many Mexican pieces, and we certainly have seen Mexican stones of this color. Entirely clean and fiercely brilliant, a lovely stone.
