Quite a large faceted example of this rare species. Related to Stibnite the mineral is a rare antimony oxide; the Moh’s hardness of 2 1/2 precludes finding faceted examples and it has always been a very quite presence in the rare stone world. A distinctive transparent grey, this one is stunning in it’s size and polish. Surely the largest and finest we have had.
