A rather rare and special Garnet. While colorless Grossulars (Leuco Garnets) are found at a number of sources, none can claim to be as evocative as the legendary Jeffrey Mine in Quebec. So many unusual color varieties and fine specimens came from this deposit that the pedigree alone is impressive. This gem is an old collection piece that, while nowhere near clean, is extraordinarily large and well cut for these. The stone remains rather brilliant and very finely cut. A true connoisseur’s piece and quite rare.
