This is one of the largest stones recently cut from a parcel of Mozambique Spessartite. The color is a fine medium dark orange with just enough of a red highlight to make the orange really pop - much different than the well known 'mandarin' colors and very impressive. The US cutting is great and there are just a few small crystalline inclusions, absolutely nothing distracting. Very fine stone with a vivid color.
