A delightfully named species, we couldn’t resist offering this one while there were also a pair of Apatites in the listing. These trickle out of a few spots worldwide but remain quite rare. Burmese stones are the norm, though clarity is usually an obstacle. This is the largest, cleanest Malagasy gem that we have offered. Starkly colorless and clean, it has an excellent polish and is nicely cut, if just a touch shallow. Great collector’s gem and now quite infrequently encountered.
