Green Zircons have become quite popular recently. All of the 'other' colors of Zircon, in fact, are enjoying some long overdue recognition. There is actually quite a range for the greens of this species - this one has a fair bit of yellow modifier, but is rather light in tone so it has some real brilliance. In direct lighting you will see a touch of that odd opalescent quality that is present in some of these ‘metamict’ gems. Great cutting.
