From the newer find of this material in Madagascar comes this fantastic gem that presents the full spectral flash of this material in a novel way. Rather than simply cab this piece (or indeed fully facet it, as the inclusions are extremely slight), the cutter has created a polished geometric shape. This perfectly draws out the colors this material is capable of - greens, blues, oranges and reds. Given the price of faceted material, it is rather surprising this wasn't simply treated as facet rough as large portions of it are so clean. Fun and dynamic piece - the colors are largely hidden when the stone is taken out of direct lighting.
