A very attractive and well done example of this increasingly difficult-to-source variety. We used to see these with regularity, but as is often the case, the supply has tightened significantly. The tone is so nice here, not a bit dark so the gem is lively and bright, helped along by the fine portuguese style pavilion. For the gemologist, there is no better material to see the classic Jeffrey Mine material - the color has a distinct peach element to the color. Superb size and fine US cutting. These are quite rare now.
