We have always been a fan of these 'fancy color' Tanzanites; they tend to be somewhat underappreciated and are many many times rarer than their violet-purple brethren. Gem Zoisite comes in a full spectrum of colors, from pure blues to rich yellows and greens. Yellows are generally the most plentiful (relatively speaking of course), while pink is surely the scarcest. We saw a good number of these fancy stones a few years back and put a few away - here is one that we thought stood out for its color as well as being particularly large and clean. A pleasant medium tone and one of the truest pinks we have had, without any significant purple modifiers; the color here could pass for pink Sapphire or even a nice Kunzite on first inspection - few would guess Zoisite.
