An exceptional stone from a fascinating and now long gone locality for Calcite - Rosarito Beach, Mexico. Orange is not a common color for gemmy Calcite from any deposit and we only have had a few, but few as large as the present example. Gorgeous precision cutting and entirely clean, the gem is beyond brilliant and bright. Furthermore, it is highly fluorescent as these tend to be. A truly fine and gorgeous stone that will delight.
