A gorgeous large single of this fine color variety that is very much 'on trend' in today's market. In fact, only recently have we begun to see this color variety of Spinel with any regularity - right now, they are extremely popular. Perfectly clean and beautifully cut, this one is a gorgeous example with just about the darkest tone that we see in these. If pressed, we might say this is one of the few that you may detect the faintest touch of purple over the grey - really something we only saw in photos, it is imperceptible in-hand. It's rather enchanting how attractive these are.
