It is sometimes difficult to resist the charms of these lovely natural crystals - they often have the most spectacular of colors and are equally often very finely shaped. And of course, they are generally much more affordable than a faceted stone of the same hue. This is a large one and very fine one - typically the larger the crystal, the less sharp the faces and perfect the form. That is not at all the case here as all the faces are lustrous and undamaged and the form is great. Of note is the fine pink color; often deep red, this one is a vibrant saturated pink Fully gem grade, the stone would undoubtedly have been cut had it not been for a veil that runs across the body of the stone and would have drastically effected the yield. That loss is our gain as it is not distracting in crystal form and what really strikes one is the crisp transparency of the stone. Great piece and very hard to source.
