Surely one of the most exotic of faceted species - Sulfohalite is almost unheard of in faceted examples. This is not least because the hardness of this mineral is 3 1/2 on the Moh's scale, so faceting is difficult to say the least. This wonderful US gem curiosity is from the famed evaporite mineral deposits in California's San Bernadino Co. and is one of only two such examples we have ever had. Certainly for the advanced collection and most unusual.
