Long a favorite of gem collectors, faceted Wulfenite is a sight to behold. If done right, the optical properties of the mineral, particularly the visible dispersion, is very impressive. We are often left wanting in this respect, but then, every once in a while we run across a truly dazzling Wulfenite with all the flashes of spectral color that you would expect.
On even rarer occasions, these special pieces also have an bright and attractive bodycolor. This one is a light, but vividly saturated lemon yellow. Really a fine hue and one that sets off the dispersion. Entirely clean and give a fine precision cut, this is a collector’s quality Wulfenite from top to bottom. Great size and simply stunning.
