While yellow Fluorites are available from some US locales, Illinois in particular, large and fine examples are quite rare from Ohio. This well documented locale produced almost no rough for cutting and little if any of this size and quality. A lovely one-off collector’s gem that has a beautiful precision cut, the color is bright and quite outstanding. A few low-relief veils, but remarkably clean for these and the size is simply spectacular. A special Ohio stone.
