A very large and visually impressive gem Sphalerite with the added attraction of a scarce US locale. Most examples of this species cut from US deposits come from limited areas of Colorado, New Mexico or New York - this the fist Montana gem we have offered. And what a way to start - a custom cut stone with a distinct and lovely green-yellow bodycolor. Extremely dispersive, the cutting is absolute precision and the gem is nearly totally clean - there are a few tiny, low relief specks that do not interrupt any of the brilliance.
