Perhaps more correctly called a purplish-pink Star Sapphire (these are almost always given the ‘ruby’ designation in Sri Lanka), this is a lovely star in a fine size. Quite sharp and mobile, the star is well centered and gem itself is largely clean - no veils or fractures, just a few low-relief included crystals scattered about. Fine gem with a lovely star.
