We were rather taken by a small parcel of faceted Emerald of magnificent color and some fascinating inclusions. In addition to the usual black carbonaceous inclusions (which look rather nice against the green) there were a few stones with very prominent golden Pyrite inclusions. Some of these are entirely inside the stone and others come to the surface so even the luster is quite interesting. The gemmy Emerald portion is very transparent as well - the photo makes this seem a bit more opaque than it actually is. Nice size and entirely entrancing in its uniqueness.
