A fine and very large example of this bright, very slightly greenish-yellow Apatite that is the distinctive color variety for this well known locale. While once readily available, the supply of this gem material has finally started to wane and we are seeing less and less of it each year. This completely clean gem is superbly cut and is simply magnificent - loupe clean and precision cut. This one is so large in fact that the slight pleochroism of the material is quite evident, an effect you almost never see in smaller stones. Absolutely nothing we can say to detract from this one.
