A quite large example of this always in-demand rare species. The color of Phosphophyllite is so distinctive that is has long been a favorite. Specimens of this mineral are particularly valued by collectors, so access to facet rough is extremely limited. Moreover, it is not an easy material to facet (a Moh's hardness of 3 1/2) and so it not a job for the faint of heart. While not clean, this gem is of a rare size and still has the very distinctive bodycolor as to be instantly recognizable. These have become immensely popular and are now quite difficult to locate.
