No doubt, one of the most obscure and difficult to source gem materials in the world. Essentially the top prize for a collector of gems from the United Stated, the only known occurrence for gem Zektzerite lies at a rugged elevation in Washington. Crystals are exceptionally rare, even here at their type locality, so there have never been more than a few faceted examples of this material in the decades since its discovery.
Quite heavily included, but also one of the largest of this species that we have ever offered. The cutting is nicely done and, given that size, the stone does indeed have an excellent presence. Additionally, the color is quite distinctly Zektzerite - the classic and attractive 'peachy' pink. Great for the species collector, even stones of this clarity are nearly impossible to source - to quote Sinkankas (Gemstones of North America), it is surely "among the rarest of all gems".
