An intriguing new gem from a fresh find. This color is relatively unprecedented in Diaspore, there are some extremely small Burmese stones that are close, but which are more purple and which never come this large. This stone is surely the finest color we have seen on a stone of this size - a truly fine medium dark puplish-pink with no real discernible color shift (in contrast to the well known Turkish material). Very attractive and entirely clean, this material hit the market in extremely limited quantities and has already largely dried up.
