A classic Sri Lankan Spinel with impeccable color and tone in a fine brilliant cut. This material has long been associated with Sri Lanka and continues to be an important part of gem production there. Each year, fine larger stones get scarcer and we are seldom able to offer these as blues have become extremely popular. The color has a very light purplish modifier that gives the gem a very attractive bodycolor - a kind of saturated lilac hue. Perfectly clean and quite lovely.
