While we have had these in sizes up to 5 carats in the past, this is the first 10+ carat gem we have had. And what a lovely and intriguing piece. The color is a dark, moody and smoky purple, one that has always been a bit unusual for Zircon. The fine US precision cutting helps keep the the stone lively and brilliant even at this larger size. Darkish to be sure, but a brooding color that looks great this way. Entirely clean and simply a fine gem.
