We don't often find excellent examples of true 'chrome' Tourmaline to offer. The material is rare and exceedingly costly - it is quite easy to pay nearly as much as fine Tsavorite for this material. The color is just superb though, a deep and rich green ever so slightly highlighted by a bluish modifier. Here we have a fine example - completely clean, nicely cut and quite impressive. This one blazes red under a Chelsea filter - the classic test for the presence of Chromium. Lovely stone and what many green stones aspire to be - just under a carat, but looks every bit the size of 1+ ct stone.
