A magnificent unheated ‘fancy’ Tanzanite. While the cutting is a fine custom US job, it is the color that is quite simply amazing. A rich and saturated green that brings the best Tsavorite to mind, so extremely rare to find in Zoisite. Not present are modifiers of yellow and brown that so often define this color, indeed the dominant modifier to the green is blue. Really a special piece custom cut gem from a fine and special piece of rough.
