A fine stone that certainly punches above it’s weight. This particular variety of trapiche, with a large and transparent central ‘core’ can be quite aesthetic - we sometimes like these stones better than those with the opaque carbonaceous centers. Here, you even get a noticeable difference in color as the core is lighter and much less green than the surrounding sections. Those flanking sections are the absolute perfect color, a rich and saturated green. Moreover, as is usually the case if the sections are clean enough, there is a light chatoyancy visible in each of the deep green sections. To have all of this, in one gem with a pleasing shape and approachable size is perhaps the rarest combination of all for a nice Trapiche. Excellent stone.
