While these have indeed been documented, they are incredibly rare - so much so in fact that we have zero issues presenting an ‘imperfect’ example. The usual Rhyolite matrix is present and obscures around 30 % of the overall pattern. What is visible is undeniably magnificent - a perfect trapiche pattern with highly chatoyant spokes and a really gorgeous, deep color. The pattern must be present in rather thin section as it is not apparent on the reverse. Quite respectable size given the typically small and thin crystals. Fine polish and certainly among the rarest things in the gem world.
