A large and bold example of the rarest form of gem Peridot - that which originates in the stony-iron meteorites known as pallasites. This particular fall, the Admire meteorite, is well known as one of the few that has been capable of producing gem rough. As you might imagine, these have had quite a life and it is exceedingly rare for any gemmy sections to remain intact. The cutting and color here are superb, far above what is normal for a stone that is priced so high on a per-carat basis. There are some of the classic (and actually quite distinctive) inclusions, but the gem is bright and quite brilliant. A fantastic gem and a great size for these. With lab report from GIT.
