A small and precious little natural gem Ruby of near perfect color. There is even less of any hint of purple than you may see in the photos; this one is a stark and pure red hue - all the while being unheated. The cutting is superb and highlights the outstanding color. Absolutely diagnostic for this find are inclusions of dark primary Rutile that can be seen under magnification. In all of our photographic precision, there is a little smudge on the table just visible - we didn’t catch it in time for a re-shoot, but it is easily wiped off. Outstanding stone and, while not large, it is entirely capable of making you fall in love with the color.
