For several years now we have been seeing a few very lovely and strange purple Diaspore crystals from Mogok. It is a highly unusual color for the species and the crystals themselves are lovely, but painfully thin - often just a few millimetres. Thus, we have never been able to source a stone thick enough to actually facet a stone - until now that is! A gorgeous, completely clean stone of this exceptional color variety. As you might expect, there is even a slight color shift; a touch more violet in daylight and deep reddish-purple with incandescent. The only one we have ever seen.
