There are always such high hopes for faceted Anatase - it has both a high refractive index and dispersion. Despite this, they almost always seem to underwhelm a bit; perhaps they are too dark or the angles aren’t quite right but they rarely seem to have the visual punch you hope for. Not the case here with this little fireball of a stone, it is bright and dispersive to the extreme. Very impressive in-hand and a credit to the gem capabilities of the species.
